The essence of the hospitality industry lies in providing customer-centric services. When management extends these principles to environmental impact, it can lead to the installation of thousands of solar panels.
The project presented a significant challenge, requiring our engineering team to assess numerous factors meticulously. Important considerations included ensuring the power plant harnessed maximum sunlight, meeting the aqua park’s illumination needs, and preserving the natural architectural landscape.
Implementing the project within regular business hours posed additional complexities. This necessitated the temporary closure of tourist areas and navigating the pressures associated with the construction process. Despite these challenges, our team successfully managed the project, balancing technical requirements with minimal disruption to guests.
The Calimanesti-Caciulata Hotel Complex is a significant project in our portfolio. We have implemented renewable energy solutions across multiple buildings, achieving a combined capacity of 546 kW. As a result, Hotel Oltul, Hotel Cozia, and Aqua Park have become self-sufficient in terms of energy. Additionally, we have installed systems for wastewater treatment and waterworks.
This transformative initiative goes beyond standard hospitality practices by primarily using solar energy. It also provides free energy for electric vehicle charging, further reducing the carbon footprint. This complex serves as a model for sustainable practices and demonstrates how solar energy can efficiently power daily operations.
